Today's tennis is very different from that which was played 15-20 years ago. Nowadays best tennis players play with a different technique than were playing for example Pete Sampras, Lleyton Hewitt or Gustavo Kuerten. The greatest changes occurred in forehand, which is now played with the late hitting concept. In my training, I use these latest findings about the technique and I'll teach you play your strokes on the same principles as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic do.
Why is fitness training so important for tennis?
Tennis is played with one hand. This unfortunately may lead to imbalance in the body. Without special exercises and strengthening, tennis player is very prone to injuries. The only way to improve the performance and prevent injury occurrence is to do fitness training which is focused specially tennis needs.
During fitness trainings I focus on:
- Elimination of imbalances and injury prevention
- Improvement of footwork
- Improvement of stroke technique
- Development of speed, power, endurance and coordination
